With a strong reputation for reliability and customer service, they are seeking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to support the finance team, with a particular focus on the Sales Ledger.
The Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Credit Controller will be responsible for managing the end-to-end credit control and sales ledger process. The role focuses on ensuring timely cash collection while maintaining positive customer relationships within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full ownership of the Sales Ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity at all times
2. Proactive credit control, including chasing outstanding debt via phone and email
3. Setting up new customer accounts and carrying out credit checks
4. Monitoring customer credit limits and payment terms
5. Resolving invoice queries and discrepancies efficiently
6. Allocating customer payments and reconciling accounts
7. Producing aged debt reports and supporting cash flow forecasting
