We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Solution Architect to join our Major Programs team within the CIO directorate.
This role involves leading the design of comprehensive, end-to-end technology solutions across various domains, including customer-facing applications, order management, and network provisioning. You will ensure these solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.
As the primary technical guide for Major Programs, you will oversee impact assessments, architecture steering, technical evaluations, and high-level design documentation. Collaboration with Enterprise Architecture is essential to maintain consistency with IT strategies and the ESA framework. Your role includes identifying opportunities to simplify architectures by reusing existing technology and reducing complexity, as well as collaborating with delivery teams on planning and resource management.
Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships is crucial to ensure solutions meet needs and gather ongoing feedback. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance, advocating continuous improvement, and participating in project meetings. Supporting and mentoring other architects and designers, as well as updating teams on progress and issues, are also key responsibilities. Ultimately, your goal is to deliver secure, scalable solutions that enhance user and customer experiences.

The Must Haves
* Proven experience as a Solution Architect working on multiple programs in a complex, stakeholder-rich environment.
* Experience designing intricate solutions in telco, entertainment, or related service industries, covering mobile, fixed, and entertainment services.
* Ability to lead initiatives independently, demonstrating strong decision-making, influence, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience across the project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, and dependency management, using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
* Knowledge of enterprise functions such as sales, service, supply chain, billing, and payments.
Additional Preferred Skills
* Experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or Netcracker products.
* Certifications like SAFe, TOGAF, or ITIL.
* Awareness of industry trends in Architecture and Solution Design, especially within Telecoms.
* Experience in systems integration, focusing on cross-domain interfaces.
