The Role
This key position is focused on maintaining high standards across quality systems, regulatory compliance, and product performance.
* Define and uphold quality criteria for all products, ensuring consistency, safety, and reliability.
Maintaining Quality Standards
The ideal candidate will maintain and continuously improve company-wide quality systems in line with national standards and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO13485, ISO14001).
Promoting Quality Excellence
The successful candidate will promote a culture of quality excellence across all departments, working closely with compliance teams to align on Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental (QSHE) systems.
Quality Strategy Development
The candidate will develop and implement best-practice quality strategies and processes to support overall business performance.
Proactive Quality Control
The role requires proactive quality control to deliver products and services that meet high customer expectations.
Quality Management Systems
The candidate will ensure the maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO 13485 and ISO 9001, and assist with third-party audits.
Investigation and Analysis
The ideal candidate will lead investigations into quality issues, including those identified through inspections, complaints, or returns.
Collaboration and Communication
Candidate will collaborate with production on inspection criteria and verify initial production runs, engineering changes (ECNs), and new product introductions.
Candidate Requirements
A technical qualification in engineering or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ERP systems.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Experience with LEAN methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
The Package
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience and qualifications).
