The company delivers complex fire detection and life safety solutions across a range of commercial and industrial environments. This role will focus on the successful delivery of high-value fire alarm projects (£3m–£6m), ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and fully compliant with relevant regulations. Life assurance ? Private medical scheme Responsibilities as a Fire Alarm Project Manager ? Manage fire alarm projects from design through to completion ? Develop and control detailed project plans, programmes, and budgets ? Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders ? Coordinate contractors, engineers, designers, and internal teams ? Review fire alarm designs and specifications for compliance ? Oversee installation quality, testing, commissioning, and handover ? Manage system integration with HVAC, security, and BMS systems ? Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits ? Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and manufacturer requirements ? Maintain accurate project documentation, including: o As-built drawings o Test and commissioning reports o Compliance and certification paperwork Requirements as a Fire Alarm Project Manager ? Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (preferred) ? Proven experience managing fire protection projects up to £6m ? Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm and detection systems ? Experience with Public Address (PA) and Disabled Refuge systems (essential) ? Good understanding of fire safety legislation and building regulations ? Familiarity with fire alarm manufacturers and system technologies ? Project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2) desirable ? Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability ? Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Why Join?
