The Role
We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our friendly team, supporting a wonderful gentleman living in Totton with his partner and their three cats. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s daily life while working in a warm and welcoming home environment.
This position is for 2 shifts per week, with some weekend availability required (around 1 in every 3 weekends).
* Weekday shifts: 07:00 – 22:00
* Weekend shifts: 08:00 – 20:00
As a Complex Care Assistant, you will be supporting a client with a tracheostomy and PEG, assisting with all aspects of daily living. You will play a key role in ensuring comfort, dignity, and independence, while also building a trusting and positive relationship.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Complex Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
* Providing personal care with sensitivity and respect
* Administering medication via PEG
* Supporting moving and positioning using a stand aid
* Delivering tracheostomy care and suctioning
* Offering companionship and emotional support
* Assisting with domestic duties
* Supporting bladder and bowel care

Training & Support
You don’t need prior complex care experience to apply. Our experienced nursing team will provide full, client‑specific training, equipping you with all the skills and confidence you need. From day one, you will be supported by our dedicated clinical team, with 24/7 guidance available whenever you need it.
