About Terex Mineral Processing Systems.
The Materials Processing segment of Terex produces and sells a full range of Mobile and Static Crushing, Screening and Washing equipment across the globe. Terex Mineral Processing Systems (MPS) focuses on static crushing & screening systems, with offices and resources across the globe, both selling direct and establishing strong relationships with dealers. The equipment is manufactured in the USA, India & Malaysia.
Responsibilities
The Sales Director for MPS is accountable for Sales of Portable, Modular and Static crushing and screening equipment in Europe, and Africa (excluding East Africa). To be successful the Sales Director is likely to be an expert in capital equipment with experience in either the aggregates, mining or recycling industry with an expertise in crushing, screening and washing Applications, bulk handling of materials, technical sales, product training, project engineering & commissioning. The Sales Director will use this expertise to develop a strategy for business growth and to manage sales & aftermarket services. This person will also be responsible for input into the Sales and Operational Planning process to and ensure appropriate product ranges are available to capitalize on sales whilst managing inventory levels.
What you’ll do
1. Set and review MPS strategy.
2. Establish and deliver on sales forecasts.
3. Partner with manufacturing on sales and operational planning.
4. Develop and manage equipment and parts budgets and sales plans.
5. Develop & execute a successful distribution and territory management plan, identifying opportunities for growth and establishment of MPS as dominant global player. Run all aspects of sales and distribution management including contracts and sales/commission agreements
6. Oversee a Sales teams of 5 in the region on their sales and marketing plans
7. Leadership and management of various teams to deliver growth.
8. Development and launch of new products.
What you’ll bring
9. Degree in Technical/ Mechanical or Business Management preferred.
10. Significant background in Aggregates, Mining or Recycling industry.
11. Expertise in crushing, screening and washing applications, bulk handling of material and technical sales
12. Sales management experience preferred.
13. Track record of business growth.
14. Background in managing and developing a network of distributors.
15. Track record of business strategy execution preferred.
16. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
17. Ability to motivate and lead teams across various sites.
