Exciting opportunity within the Endoscopy Unit at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, Shrewsbury. We are recruiting Band 5 Staff Nurses / ODPs for full‑time or part‑time positions.
The service is expanding following a recent upgrade to our facilities, offering new procedures and learning opportunities.
Successful applicants will be required to participate in the comprehensive on‑call service for out‑of‑hours work after full training.
Cross‑site working and the ability to drive to The Princess Royal Hospital are essential.
Main Duties
* Pre‑assessment of patients from clinic requiring endoscopic procedures.
* Provide skilled and considerate care during patient admission, the procedure, recovery and discharge.
* Prepare equipment and the environment to enable procedures to be carried out to a high standard safely.
Qualifications
* Professional nursing or ODP qualification.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent enthusiasm and commitment to patient care.
* Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to the Princess Royal Hospital.

Shift Details
Operating hours: 08:00 – 18:00, Monday to Sunday (inclusive of bank holidays).
