The Role:
To provide a specialist technical and business expertise for the diverse range of Digital Line of Business Systems and Services. These services are provided for the management of Line of Business, Operational, Technical and Specialist systems and applications to include hardware, software, training, project management, Digital services and Digital related communication resources.
To ensure the effective and efficient provision of support and services, including development and maintenance, of Digital Line of Business Systems in line with NIFRS organisational need.
Hours of work: per week
Essential Criteria:
1. Possess a Degree level qualification in a relevant subject (eg IT, Systems Development)
AND
2. Have at least 2 years' experience in a Systems Manager role
OR
3. Have at least 5 years' experience in a Systems Manager role
Essential Criteria: Knowledge, Skills & Experience
4. Have experience in managing and upgrading IT systems with an ability to troubleshoot advanced technical issues
5. Can demonstrate:Effective planning, organisation, prioritising skills and attention to detail and the ability to work individually or as a team memberEffective communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to provide timely and accurate informationThe ability to deliver high quality work with excellent attention to detailA customer service orientation
6. Possess a full, current UK driving licence or have access to a form of transport which enables them to fulfil the full requirements of the job
