Were looking for a Team Leader to support and guide our Multi Specialist Advocates (MSAs) in the Duty Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping high-quality advocacy services that truly impact peoples lives.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide line management, supervision, and day-to-day support to MSAs in the Duty Team
* Lead the development and coordination of our Central Volunteer offer
* Manage the daily workflow and ensure the team meets its KPIs
* Ensure all working practices meet internal and external policies, procedures, and audit requirements
* Oversee effective use of case management systems
* Gather and analyse performance, quality, and outcomes data
* Escalate issues in a timely manner and support service improvements
* Assist with recruitment and induction of staff, students, and volunteers
* Ensure HR processes (recruitment, discipline, grievance, supervision, appraisal) are effectively followed
* Act as first point of contact for safeguarding concerns and complaints, ensuring appropriate escalation
* Provide on-call support for out-of-hours working
* Hold a proportionate MSA caseload
* Provide contingency support across the Advocacy Service as required
