We are a dynamic and growing Managing General Agent (MGA) operating in the UK insurance market, specialising in travel, gadget, and pet insurance. ROLE OVERVIEW:
ERGO TIS has successfully launched its new Business to Customer (B2C) proposition, building on the company’s deep-rooted expertise in the Business to Business to Customer (B2B2C) space. With the foundation firmly in place, this role is now focused on accelerating the growth of our direct-to-consumer offering, leveraging both the organisation’s existing capabilities and the individual’s own commercial expertise. Initially launched within the travel insurance market where ERGO TIS holds a leading position, the B2C strategy is set to expand into additional lines of business, with the aim of establishing a market-leading presence across multiple sectors.
Location: Horsham / London
Position Type: Full Time, hybrid.
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Drive the ongoing development and optimisation of ERGO TIS’ direct-to-consumer (D2C) proposition, ensuring it remains competitive, relevant, and commercially successful
* Lead the strategic evolution and performance management of the launched travel insurance product, with a focus on growth, retention, and customer satisfaction
* Develop and own business cases and forecasting models to support ongoing D2C initiatives and future product line expansions
* Manage and strengthen relationships with all third-party providers including the PCWs supporting the D2C proposition
* Own the D2C brand strategy, marketing plans, and articulation of unique selling points to build awareness and differentiation
* Continuously evaluate and report on the effectiveness of growth initiatives, using data to refine and optimise activity
* Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver enhancements and new features across the D2C journey, ensuring alignment with business goals
* Lead the creation and ongoing management of D2C budgets and forecasts, including margin optimisation and performance tracking against key financial targets
* Monitor and interpret customer feedback from complaints, Trustpilot reviews, and contact centre queries to identify trends, improve customer experience, and ensure product-market fit
* Analyse customer behaviour, including renewals and repeat purchases, to inform strategies that improve retention and lifetime value
* Oversee ongoing optimisation of the website and customer portal to maximise conversion and upsell opportunities
* Monitor call centre KPIs against internal targets, identifying areas for service improvement and operational efficiency
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Previous experience as of working on Price Comparison Website led insurance in any line of business.
* Previous experience working in business growth / management within the financial services industry
* Working knowledge of Microsoft software, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
* Advantageous is experience of PowerBI or similar visualisation tool but not a requirement.

* Good understanding of industry best practice
* Demonstrates high levels of experience gained within an insurance industry.
* Demonstrates high levels of regulatory knowledge and application of FCA / PRA rules and requirements.
* Promote and support best practice and compliant behaviours to be maintained throughout the business.
* Demonstrates ability to practically apply expert knowledge and application in the following key areas:
