 Here at Saga Plc, we are recruiting for an experienced Technology Engineer to join our in-house team to support on some business-critical projects that focus on technology security enhancements across insurance, travel and our partners. 
 You will be able to step into this role quickly and already be an established and knowledgeable Technology Engineer. You will work closely with our Head of Infrastructure Operations, Lead SecOps Engineer and team of engineers. The team are based from Folkestone 2 days a week with 3 days from home. You’ll have the chance to be involved in some exciting technology transformation projects here. Sometimes our FTC vacancies can lead to a permanent opportunity after the term of contract or even before. 
 If you are comfortable being hands on with Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, and Exchange Online, helping to keep environments secure, efficient, and future-ready, then this contract is for you. 
 We work in a hybrid way at Saga both at home and in the office. In this team we work mainly from Folkestone, Kent and tend to have a pattern of 2-3 days per week. Role Responsibility Our Technology Engineer will be responsible for the following: 
• To provide technical expertise to support project delivery tasks; implementation of new infrastructure and security functionality to support the Saga business units. 
• Monitor systems and proactively raise issues to the business and to the technology team where required. 
• Initiate and implement technical change requests where required to support business projects or to resolve incidents, communicating progress to both internal and external stakeholders. 
• The Ideal Candidate We are keen to speak with Tech Engineers from large organisations or MSP’s who have exposure to technology infrastructure in a customer facing organisations. 
 Microsoft 365 administration - strong knowledge of Intune, Exchange Online, including license management, security and compliance configuration and general product administration within the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. 
 Microsoft Entra - strong knowledge of Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) architecture, configuration and management. Experience with conditional access policies, MFA, SSO and application integrations. 
 Automation and scripting - proficiency in PowerShell for automation of M365 and Entra tasks. 
 Experience with monitoring and reporting tools. 
• Experience of maintaining and administering SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive. 
• Microsoft 365 security and compliance knowledge - implementing and managing security controls, including DLP, MIP, and Defender for Office 365. Understanding of compliance features (eDiscovery, retention policies, auditing). 
• Other relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Security Engineer Associate) are desirable.
