We're seeking an individual to organise and provide leadership to the domestic cleaning functions of Lavender Hills Care Home.
Role Expectations:
* Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of cleaning implementation and delivery.
* To supervise the cleaning and laundry services in accordance with agreed standards.
* Implement actions to meet and maintain cleaning standards.
* Systematically solve day-to-day problematical issues which arise.
* Evaluate standards of cleaning competence.
* Ensure the residents' rights are protected.
* Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support.
* Develop effective working relationships with the other employees working in the home.
* Be involved in the implementation and maintenance of the service's quality assurance. programme.
* Cooperate with the implementation, evaluation, orientation, and induction of all new employees.
* Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.
* Take responsibility for your own professional development through performance and development reviews and undertake any relevant training.
* To maintain housekeeping skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may, from time to time, be required to maintain that currency of practice.
