We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Delivery Co-ordinator to join our Wakefield Equipment and Wheelchair Service team. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient delivery, collection, and maintenance of health and social care equipment to service users across the Wakefield district.
What can I expect?
1. Excellent Salary grade range G6 (SCP 12- 18) £28,- £31,
2. This is a full time Position 37 hours Monday to Friday

3. Highly organised and able to work to deadlines.
4. Skilled in using IT systems for accurate record-keeping.
5. Physically capable of handling equipment safely and in line with HSE guidelines.
6. A strong communicator with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and service users.
7. Flexible and willing to support other areas of the service when needed.
What I might be doing?
8. Provide an efficient and effective delivery and collection service for health and social care equipment.
9. Complete allocated work within specified deadlines.
10. Demonstrate and fit equipment for service users, families, and carers with a high degree of accuracy.
11. Respond to emergency delivery and collection requests promptly
12. Liaise with Business Support Assistants to report failed deliveries, unsafe requests, and route abnormalities.
