Spare Parts Sales Specialist (UK & Ireland)
Coventry (Office Based) | £16.92 – £19.49 per hour (£33,000 – £38,000 per annum, DOE) | Full‑Time | Temporary (with potential to become permanent)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Spare Parts Sales Specialist to join a leading organisation within the engineering and automation sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced aftersales / customer service professional to join a fast‑paced, collaborative team, with a strong possibility of securing a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
* Order Management & Aftersales: Prepare and issue accurate spare parts quotations; process customer orders using ERP systems; manage returns, repairs, invoicing, and credits; monitor open orders and ensure timely delivery; expedite backlog orders to maximise output.
* Customer Service: Build and maintain strong customer relationships; provide high‑quality support across phone and email; deliver service in line with SLA expectations.
* Digital & Sales Support: Support customers using the E‑Store platform; assist with onboarding to digital systems; work with European teams to improve processes.
* Inventory & Continuous Improvement: Monitor stock levels and manage backorders; support inventory optimisation; contribute to process improvements and KPI tracking.
About You
* Minimum 4 years in aftersales, customer service, or similar role.
* Experience using ERP systems (SAP or JD Edwards desirable).
* Background in technical, engineering, or B2B environments preferred.
* Strong communication and customer‑focused approach.
* Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
* Commercial awareness and attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
* Team player with a proactive mindset.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
Friday: 08:00 – 15:45
