Senior Business Analyst – Power & Renewables | Glasgow
This is a permanent, value-add role within a growing, international engineering firm. Join an agile team to drive process and system improvements in the Power & Renewables sector.
The Role:
You will act as a Senior Business Analyst, playing a critical role in optimizing business processes, tools, and systems. Your focus will be on employing structured analysis and lean improvement techniques to drive operational excellence and support data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop business processes and procedures.
* Lead improvement initiatives from start to finish.
* Engage with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
* Collaborate with IT to align business needs with technical capabilities.
* Provide training and support for new processes and systems.
Experience Required:
* 7-10 years of industry or consulting experience, ideally in the power, energy, or utilities sector.
* Strong academic background with a relevant degree in engineering.
* Demonstrated experience in business and process analysis.
* Proven project and program delivery experience (Agile/Waterfall).
* Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in business process management software and tools like Tableau, PowerBI, and Visio.
