Overview
Represent a leading UK heavy side manufacturer within the construction sector as Area Sales Manager. Region: Oxfordshire Gloucestershire Wiltshire Somerset Buckinghamshire Berkshire Dorset. Salary: £45,000 + 20% OTE / Bonus + Hybrid Company Car + Benefits.
Responsibilities
* Managing and developing relationships with national and independent builders merchants and contractors within the construction sector.
* Driving new business opportunities and expanding the company's presence across builders merchants accounts.
* Providing technical support and product guidance to contractors and builders merchants.
* Delivering product training and commercial support to ensure builders merchants recommend the company's solutions.
* Collaborating with the specification team to secure the company's products on construction projects.
* Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and construction sector developments to maximise sales opportunities.

The Candidate
We are looking for a motivated field sales professional with experience in the construction sector. Ideal candidates will have:
* Previous field sales experience within construction, either:
* Working for a construction manufacturer managing accounts with builders merchants or contractors, or
* Working for a builders merchant and looking to step up into a leading manufacturer role.
* Proven track record in account management, winning new business, and developing strong relationships with contractors and builders merchants.
* Strong understanding of the construction market and the buying behaviours of builders merchants.
* Energy, resilience, and a consultative approach to sales, with the drive to deliver results and grow demand.
The Package
* £45,000 basic salary
* 20% bonus / OTE
