Salary Unqualified: £28,582 - £30,282 per annum + £3,000 MRA; Qualified: £31,182 - £36,084 per annum + £6,000 MRA

Responsibilities
* Teach and assess on Level 3 Games Design Courses with the possibility to teach other related programmes including HE & apprenticeships.
* Deliver predominantly on our Games Design course and may include some web design/graphic elements.
* Contribute to the department and help drive the learning experience forward with creative practice.
* Deliver lessons that meet College standards and support high student retention and achievement.
Qualifications
* Degree level qualification in Games Design, Graphics and Animation or a related subject, with recent relevant industry experience.
* Experience teaching software development and a good understanding of Unreal Engine 5, Maya, Substance Painter, and Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of the game development cycle.
* Desirable: industry experience in game production pipelines; familiarity with Blender, Rizom UV, ZBrush; specialisations in animation, motion capture, VFX, particles, or narrative design.
* Experience delivering and assessing BTEC programmes is desirable.
* Teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or willingness to work towards Level 5 Diploma teaching qualification (support via CPD) on appointment.
* Experience delivering lessons to a standard of 'Good' or above; excellent communication skills and motivation to provide outstanding learner service.
