People Group has collaborated with a leading property and construction consultancy based in Essex. We are looking for a well-rounded Senior Building Surveyor to join the team.
The consultancy boasts over 20 Partners and has been running successfully for over 60 years. They have 5 offices across the UK delivering a range of services across the built environment. The practice has a reputable reputation they have delivered recent projects on Wembley Park, The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and the British Museum to name a few.
We are looking for a well-rounded Senior Building Surveyor to join the consultancy team. You will provide a range of building surveying services across the professional and project disciplines. Work is based in Essex and surrounding home counties, programme values range from £100k - £2million.
The Role
You’ll be involved in a wide variety of building surveying work, including both professional and contract/project-related duties, such as:
Defect analysis and report writing
Dilapidations and party wall matters
Building and due diligence surveys
Planned preventative maintenance schedules
Contract administration and Employers Agent roles
Specification writing for refurbishment and maintenance projects
Site supervision and monitoring works for quality and progress

About you
Degree qualified ideally RICS accredited
MRICS qualified
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Proven ability to manage projects, mentor junior team members, and build strong client relationships
Highly motivated, proactive and able to work independently with excellent attention to detail
