Role description
We are thrilled to announce an exceptional opportunity for a Principal Level Chartered Building Surveyor to join our well‑established L&I Technical Due Diligence and Building Surveying team. The position primarily involves handling transaction‑based assignments within the UK, focusing on technical advisory services while allowing room for your unique skills and career aspirations.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality Technical Due Diligence (TDD) reports, identifying key risks, assessing severity, quantifying impact, and providing actionable recommendations.
* Manage and deliver professional technical consultancy commissions, including condition surveys and other related services.
* Effectively communicate and collaborate with Project Managers, Team Leaders, and clients to ensure all necessary information is available for successful project execution.
* Mentor and develop junior building surveyors, fostering growth and technical knowledge within the team.
* Represent Arcadis professionally at all times, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders.
Service delivery and risk management
* Manage risks in service delivery and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
* Drive organic revenue growth and support the delivery of the business plan for the commercial building surveying offering.
Communication and collaboration
* Effectively communicate to ensure all necessary information is available for the successful execution and completion of projects.
* Collaborate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to maintain efficient financial control and deliver a cost‑effective service.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree and MRICS qualified, with post‑qualification experience.
