Exam Invigilator and Scribes – Part-time, temp-to-perm role starting in May 2026 (minimum 2 hours per session)

Duties as Exam Invigilator and Scribes:
* Support students during examinations as an invigilator, reader, or scribe
* Read exam questions aloud and/or write answers dictated by students
* Work a minimum of 2 hours per session as required
* Ensure exam regulations and procedures are followed at all times
* Maintain a calm and orderly exam environment
* Assist students with additional needs in line with access arrangements
* Prepare exam materials and organise the exam room layout
* Report any irregularities or concerns to senior staff
* Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal Exam Invigilator and Scribes:
* Strong command of written and spoken English
* Calm, reliable, and confident in supporting pupils during assessments
* Able to maintain confidentiality and follow strict procedures
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Professional, patient, and attentive to detail
* Flexible and comfortable working short sessions (minimum 2 hours)
* Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
* Experience in education settings is helpful but not essential
