A well established veterinary hospital in the Haywards Heath area is looking for a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a focused, calm night shift role where your nursing skills truly matter. You must be confident in a sole charge overnight setting, and prior experience in hospital, ECC or OOH is preferred.
| DETAILS OF THE ROLE |
You'll be the overnight RVN on duty, supported by the on-call veterinary surgeon. The role focuses on in-patient care, emergency triage, and treatment administration through the night.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring and nursing of medical and post-op patients
* Administering prescribed medications and IV fluids
* Responding to emergency cases and liaising with the on-call vet
* Ensuring accurate and thorough clinical record-keeping
* Maintaining a clean, well-equipped clinical area
* Handover to the day team to ensure seamless care
You are entitled to a 1hr break between midnight and 6am. Sleeping is permitted during this time, but this break must be structured around patient needs, emergency admissions, and treatment schedules.
* Rota: 4 nights on / 6 nights off ➝ 4 nights on / 4 nights off (rolling pattern)
* Shift Times: 6:30pm – 8:30am (1-hour permitted break between midnight and 6am)
