We are experiencing sustained growth and have an excellent opportunity for an experienced SHEQ Administrator to join our team in Bathgate.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

* Maintain the H&S Management System folders and oversee Plan spreadsheets, ensuring all outstanding actions are followed up as directed by the Head of SHEQ.
* Collate H&S incidents, near misses, and trend reports to help drive safety improvements.
* Update local H&S arrangements and policies, ensuring efficient distribution throughout the facility.
* Administer H&S alerts, coordinating departmental responses and reporting back to the central team within a 7-day timeframe.
* Act as the training records administrator, assisting with course registration and issuing certificates.
* Attend and take minutes for all H&S-related meetings, including Water, Fire, Waste Management, and Safety Representative forums.
* Proactively notify the Head of SHEQ if risk assessments or actions are not being managed within the required timelines.


Required Skills and Experience

* Demonstrable success in a similar role preferably within the Housing, Social Housing or a similar customer-oriented industry.
* A solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation and risk issues. An IOSH qualification is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in the MS Office suite is essential for managing reports and tracking systems.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, paired with excellent interpersonal abilities to work effectively within a team.
* A proactive approach with the ability to manage competing pressures and conflicting priorities effectively.
