We are looking for Lift Engineers who would like to progress and become NVQ4 qualified Testers. We will provide you with all necessary training to become an independent and qualified Tester. You will be enrolled for NVQ4 training and also receive Technical Training within the Company.
As a fully qualified Tester, your responsibilities will include:
1. Carrying out pre-tests on company installations and modernisations, compiling snag lists for engineers/trades as necessary.
2. Onsite adjusting and testing of lifts to ensure adherence to Health and Safety legislation and lift regulations.
3. Meticulous and timely completion of test sheets and supporting company and client documentation.
4. Delivering training and guidance from the start of the installation process to full completion, final testing, commissioning, and handover.
5. Utilizing technical experience, specifically an understanding of lift control systems and electrical knowledge.
6. Training and mentoring junior engineers/trainees on company and third-party products and processes.
7. Supporting other departments as necessary.
