An exciting opportunity to have a real impact on the marketing of Zoopla - one of the most loved brands for property in the UK. Zoopla is widely used by businesses, including estate agents and home builders, to market homes, win new customers and promote home services.
We’re looking for an ambitious Customer Marketing Lead to execute on B2B marketing strategy across our Homes solutions - playing a significant part in strengthening our unique position with and powering businesses who are looking to reach the most engaged housing audiences.
The Customer Marketing Lead will take on a highly cross-functional role, making a real impact through partnering with teams across the business to deliver disproportionate value to estate agents and home builders. They will bring exciting new products to market, as well as develop personalised communications using best-in-class data that boosts perception and increases customer acquisition and retention. They will be customer obsessed, responsible for identifying opportunities, new strategies and programmes that ultimately lead to increased revenue and customer lifetime value.
Requirements
1. Own the end-to-end customer marketing strategy and plan to support the business’s acquisition, retention and growth revenue goals.
2. Lead the go-to-market planning and cross-functional execution for B2B products. Developing positioning, key messaging and core product marketing assets ( customer journeys, demo videos, sales and support enablement tools).
3. Understand our customer cohort (existing and future) needs to develop and deliver personalised experiences and targeted communications that leverage Zoopla’s best in class audience data and insights.
4. Analyse churn and develop effective engagement initiatives to foster stronger relationships and increase customer retention rates.
5. Use communications and tactics to evolve our customers’ appreciation for our value offering - beyond just lead ROI - in order to improve overall perception of Zoopla.
6. Implement and manage customer feedback mechanisms ( Net Promoter Score) that measure customer perception and satisfaction, to identify where action is needed.
7. Partner closely with the consumer marketing and product management teams within the Homes division to identify and execute on B2B2C and B2C2B opportunities.
8. Collaborate with our research & insights and UX research teams to stay on top of the market landscape, competitors and customer needs to drive new growth initiatives and maintain a competitive edge.
9. Track and analyse the impact and effectiveness of marketing and products throughout the customer lifecycle.
10. Manage two direct reports.
Ideally you'll have
11. Significant B2B experience in a relevant marketing or strategy role.
12. Experience in technology, a digital marketplace or B2B SaaS is preferred.
13. Demonstrated success in developing and executing customer strategies and marketing programmes that resulted in increased customer acquisition, retention and revenue growth.
14. Deep understanding of customer churn - how to effectively analyse and manage prevention of it through enhanced, personalised customer experiences.
15. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive decision-making.
16. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional Product, User Research, Commercial and Marketing teams.
17. Highly motivated and determined - willing to lead on key projects and push through challenges.
18. Demonstrated ability to lead a high performing team, working at pace and prioritising under pressure to deliver to agreed deadlines and KPIs.
19. Results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving customer satisfaction, revenue growth and business success.
20. Resilient, comfortable with uncertainty, and able to adapt to changing circumstances without missing a beat.
