Overview
We’re looking for a Learning and Development Specialist to work with Senior Managers and Managers across the business to design, deliver and evaluate learning solutions that meet individual, departmental and organizational needs, including regulatory requirements.
What you’ll be doing:
* Working with Senior Managers and Managers across the business to provide expert advice on the best development methods for their teams.
* Completing needs analysis, design, delivery and evaluation of learning solutions to meet individual/department/organizational needs and regulatory requirements.
* Working with the Digital Learning Specialist to design, implement and update blended learning programmes.
* Adopting new technologies to create exciting and engaging learning modules and materials.
* Contributing to Learning & Development related projects as required, liaising with key stakeholders, to ensure projects delivered within agreed timescales.
* Providing coaching and mentoring sessions for colleagues in support of all learning and development programmes.
* Recommending and initiating change to Learning & Development systems, processes and procedures.
* Maintaining awareness and knowledge of current people development theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation to Senior Managers, Managers and colleagues within the Society.
* Creating and maintaining strong working relationships with the HR team, stakeholders and project team to support the development of colleagues.
* Creating a positive team environment.
What we’re looking for
* Ideally, holder of CIPD Certificate in Learning and Development (or equivalent) or willing to study towards.
* Ideally, experience of the full training cycle gained within a professional training environment.
* Ideally, a qualified coach or experience of coaching theory and practice.
* Tech-savvy – you’ll need to have knowledge of our IT systems (i.e. STAR, UFSS, Microsoft Office).
* A calm, clear, and confident communicator who has experience in coaching, developing and presenting.
* Flexibility, you’ll need to be able to prioritise and adapt your work.
* A customer centric person who holds a genuine interest in customers and their needs.
* Someone who shows up every day with a positive, helpful, and supportive attitude and makes a heartfelt impression on our colleagues.
* An infectious team spirit who’s ready to work as part of a team.
