Construction Site Supervisor (Civil Engineering) Location: East Anglia region, United Kingdom Start Date: ASAP / Contract: 12 months (with likely extension) Rate / Salary: £350 - £380 per day, outside IR35 Turner Lovell is partnering with a leading global energy and infrastructure company delivering major civil engineering and building projects across the UK. This role is pivotal in ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery on key civil and building works within large-scale infrastructure projects. We're looking for a Construction Site Supervisor to manage contractor compliance, site progress, and quality across excavation, reinforced concrete, steel erection, and drainage works on major infrastructure projects based in the UK. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily site activities, ensuring permits and RAMS are in place and works progress on schedule. Coordinate site interfaces and monitor excavation, concrete, steel erection, and drainage operations. Review and enforce Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and safety compliance. Conduct regular inspections, maintain snag lists, and manage defect resolution. Support safety culture and carry out site safety audits. Act as Temporary Works Coordinator if required. Ensure all site documentation and equipment certification are up to date. Liaise with Resident Engineer and contractors to resolve issues promptly. Requirements: 5 years' civil construction supervision experience including excavation, reinforced concrete, steel erection, and drainage. NVQ or equivalent in construction; CSCS card. CITB SSSTS; Temporary Works Supervisor training desirable. Strong knowledge of CDM 2015, H&S legislation, and construction methods. Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident communicator.
