Qualifications / Must Haves
* CNC Milling and/or Turning experience including lathe work and live tooling experience (heavy machining advantageous)
* Fanuc and/or Haas control experience (or experience with other controls with transferable programming skills)
* Ability to work to tight tolerances
* Experience in low volume, high precision work
* Strong attention to detail
* Ideally experience in programming (strong editing and modifying may be considered)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small close‑knit team
Hours
* Flexible day shifts (3‑person CNC team)
* Working hours designed to support home/work balance
* Overtime available as required
Key Responsibilities
* Programming, setting and operating CNC milling and turning machines
* Working with Fanuc and Haas controls
* Producing high‑precision, low‑volume components
* Machining heavy engineering components for specialist applications
* Including lathe work with live tooling operations where required
* Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
* Carrying out in‑process inspection and quality control
* Supporting continuous improvement and workshop efficiency
* Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
What We’re Looking For
A confident CNC Machinist with strong engineering background.
* Experience in Fanuc and/or Haas, or other CNC controls with transferable programming ability
* Strong background in milling and turning, including lathe and live tooling experience
* Ideally heavy engineering exposure
* A proactive, reliable and quality‑focused approach
* Willingness to learn and develop programming skills further
* Team player who fits well into a small workshop environment
