Are you ready to take the next step in your procurement career with a growing national business? We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven Purchasing Administrator to join our Burnley-based team and play a vital role in supporting our purchasing operations across the UK.
As Purchasing Administrator, you’ll work closely with the Operations Director and wider team. You’ll liaise with suppliers, manage purchase orders, monitor stock levels, and help maintain strong supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
* Raising and processing purchase orders accurately and efficiently
* Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and best pricing
* Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with stock forecasting
* Resolving supplier queries and discrepancies in a timely manner
* Supporting procurement reporting and data analysis
* Assisting with sourcing new suppliers and evaluating supplier performance
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement support role
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Confident communicator with the ability to build supplier relationships
* Comfortable working with Excel and CRM systems
* A team player with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
