Join us as a Trainee Driver at the Sofa Delivery Company and kickstart your driving career. During the first 12 weeks you will drive a 3.5‑ton van while we prepare you to upgrade to your 7.5‑ton licence. We cover the costs of training and medical assessments, offer time off for theory and hazard tests, and provide driver training. Once you complete training and pass the necessary tests you’ll be promoted to a 7.5T Driver role, with a pay increase to match. Our 4‑on/4‑off shift pattern runs from 7 am to 7 pm, giving you plenty of time to relax, recharge, and enjoy life outside of work.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Deliver furniture safely and professionally to customers’ homes.
* Keep customers informed with pre‑delivery communication so they know when to expect you.
* Ensure furniture is delivered to the right room and leave no rubbish behind.
* Work with your team and senior managers to provide feedback and improve service standards.
* Represent the Sofa Delivery Company values and those of our brand partners in everything you do.
* Comply with all driving laws, company policies and procedures.

Requirements
* A valid UK driving licence with 6 points or fewer.
* At least 2 years of driving experience, with no drink or drug‑driven convictions.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
