Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Creative Teaching Assistant to join our team in Mitcham, Greater London. This is a temporary position with full-time hours. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons to students.
Job Duties:
1. Assist teachers in preparing and delivering creative lesson plans
2. Support students in their learning and development
3. Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
4. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed
5. Assist with classroom management and behaviour monitoring
Required Qualifications:
6. GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
7. Previous experience working with children or young people
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent
Experience:
Previous experience working with children or young people
Knowledge and Skills:
9. Understanding of safeguarding procedures
10. Ability to work effectively in a team
11. Good organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
12. Teaching Assistant qualification
13. First Aid certification
