About the Role
What is the role?
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Care Manager to lead our service, uphold our values, and ensure every client receives outstanding care. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for service quality, staff performance, compliance with CQC and other regulations, and achieving growth targets. You’ll be a key driver of our success by supporting staff, maintaining high standards, and ensuring smooth, efficient operations with the support from other Managers and Directors.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and inspire the care team to deliver the highest quality of service.
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and evidence “Outstanding” practice.
Oversee safe recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance monitoring of staff.
Manage safeguarding, complaints, and operational problem-solving.
Monitor and maintain client quality assurance, care reviews, and service delivery.
Review and update company policies and procedures at least annually.
Work with the leadership team to achieve company objectives.
Manage the daily branch operations to the highest standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a senior or leadership role within the homecare sector.
Previous involvement in CQC inspections.
Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and IT skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a warm, positive approach.
Willingness to participate in the on-call rota (shared evenly).
