Location: Bristol
Job Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist seeking a new challenge? Our client is looking for a committed and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join their Specialist Mental Health Division in Bristol.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Occupational Therapist to work with individuals who have experienced trauma and present with complex mental health needs. The role focuses on delivering community-based interventions that promote recovery, independence, and improved quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver trauma-informed, person-centred occupational therapy interventions in community settings
* Provide clinical guidance to support staff and contribute to care planning
* Assess service users' functional needs and develop individualised treatment plans
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support
* Promote recovery, independence, and skill-building in daily living
* Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain CQC compliance
Requirements
* HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience
* Experience supporting individuals with trauma and complex mental health needs
* Background in community-based mental health services preferred
* Strong understanding of therapeutic models and mental health legislation
* Confident in managing caseloads and leading practice within a team
* Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
