Are you a confident and adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for flexible supply work in Epping Forest?
We’re working with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across the area who regularly need strong HLTAs to step in and provide high-quality classroom support. This is a fantastic way to gain variety in your working week, build new experiences, and keep a healthy work–life balance — while still doing what you do best: supporting children’s learning.
Whether you’re looking for day-to-day cover or a longer-term role, we’ll match you with schools that fit your skills and preferences.
Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons and cover classes in the teacher’s absence.
* Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
* Work with small groups and individual pupils to support progress.
* Use your initiative to adapt activities and keep pupils engaged.
* Build positive relationships with children and staff across different schools.
* Uphold school policies and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
* HLTA qualification (or significant classroom experience at this level).
* Experience working across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.
* Confidence in delivering pre-planned lessons and managing a classroom.
* A flexible, professional and enthusiastic attitude.
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.
