The Company Production Operative
Linkster are currently recruiting on behalf of a client, an esteemed company in the FMCG sector located in Foston Dove Valley Park (DE65). They are seeking to fill a Production Operative position on a full-time and permanent basis.
Job Specification - Production Operative
1. Setting up, cleaning, and operating bottling, filling, and labelling equipment while adhering to efficiency standards.
2. Maintaining quality in accordance with Company standards, ensuring high levels of health, safety, and hygiene.
3. Feeding all line equipment with required materials.
4. Monitoring stock levels and collaborating with the production supervision team to address any concerns that may arise.
The ideal candidate
1. At least one year of experience in a similar role, preferably in bottling line machinery.
2. Previous experience operating filler and/or labelling equipment is desirable.
3. Familiarity with shift work.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills, alongside problem-solving and organisational abilities.
5. Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
6. Given the limited public transport options in the area, it is essential that candidates are able to commute to Foston for their scheduled shifts without any difficulties.
The Benefits - Production Operative
1. Competitive salary package totalling £34,028 (comprising a basic salary of £28,757 p/a and a shift allowance of £5,271). After successful completion of 6-month probation the salary package will increase to circa £35,700.
2. Rotating shift pattern from Monday to Friday (0600-1400 / 1400-2200 / 2200-0600).
