Bókun is currently seeking two Sales Development Associates. Join Bókun, a Tripadvisor company, and help transform the tours and activities industry. The booking management software helps travel operators worldwide increase their bookings and simplify operations. As part of the team, you’ll help develop solutions that improve how businesses in the travel sector operate and grow.
This role is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in software sales and will initially be a 6-month fixed-term contract.

As a Sales Development Associate, you will be at the forefront of the sales process, responsible for generating high-quality leads for Product Sales Executives. Your primary focus will be on identifying and qualifying potential customers through high-volume telephone outreach, sparking initial interest in our Experiences SaaS platform. All activities and lead progression will be managed within Salesforce.
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with a passion for engaging with people and a drive to achieve targets. You may have an interest in or some experience in roles such as Lead Generation Specialist, Business Development Representative, or Sales Coordinator.
Key responsibilities:
* Conduct a high volume of outbound telephone calls to prospective customers using pre-populated lists..
* Clearly and concisely articulate the value of the Bókun platform during your calls.
* Understand the initial needs of potential customers to determine if they are a good fit for our product.
* Generate and qualify new leads, scheduling product demonstrations and consultations for the Product Sales Executives.
* Manage all sales activities, from call outcomes to lead status, within our Salesforce CRM to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
* Work collaboratively with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads.
* Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and other related KPIs.
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role, such as customer service, hospitality, or telesales, is advantageous.
* A strong interest in starting a career in technology or software sales.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone.
* A positive and resilient attitude, with the ability to handle objections and learn from feedback.
* A strong desire to achieve and exceed targets in a fast-paced environment.
* Well-organised with a keen eye for detail and experience managing tasks systematically.
* A team player who is open to coaching and dedicated to continuous personal and professional growth.
* Familiarity with Spanish or other European languages is beneficial, but not required.
