Warehouse Manager – Night Shift
Location: West Thurrock, Essex
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, permanent | Night shift: 8:00pm – 5:00am

Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting for a confident and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our proactive and well-respected client based in West Thurrock. This role will take full responsibility for managing the night shift operations within a busy and fast-paced warehouse environment.

Please note: Due to the nature of this role, applicants must currently reside in the UK and live within a commutable distance of West Thurrock. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage all aspects of the warehouse night shift operations
* Lead, support, and coach the night team to achieve performance targets and KPIs
* Maintain stock control and ensure the accurate and timely despatch of all vehicles
* Ensure compliance with all company policies and health & safety procedures
* Introduce and implement new initiatives to improve warehouse processes
* Promote positive communication and smooth handovers between shifts and departments
* Monitor team performance, carry out reviews, and manage training where needed
* Conduct investigations and complete relevant administrative tasks related to stock issues or damages
* Liaise with key departments, including transport, sales, and the day shift team
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in warehouse and night shift management
* Confident, hands-on leader with strong people and operations management skills
* Recent experience working with a WMS (Warehouse Management System), ideally with responsibility for training and roll-out
* Calm under pressure with excellent decision-making abilities
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Adaptable and open to change, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement
* A valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence is desirable
* Own transport is essential due to the location and shift times
* Must have the right to work in the UK and be currently residing in the UK
