Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Screen Printer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality printed designs on various materials, ensuring colour accuracy and precision. A strong understanding of printing techniques, colour management, and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
* Set up and operate screen printing equipment efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality.
* Prepare screens, inks, and substrates prior to printing runs, ensuring correct colour matching and registration.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the printing process to minimise downtime.
* Collaborate with the design team to review artwork files and prepare them for printing, ensuring compatibility with printing specifications.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Conduct quality control checks on printed products, making adjustments as necessary to meet client expectations.
* Keep detailed records of print jobs, including materials used and production times for future reference.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in screen printing or related print production roles.
* Familiarity with colour management techniques and print calibration processes.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work accurately under deadlines.
* Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to team projects.
