A FMCG manufacturing company are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Project Manager to lead exciting projects that will shape the future of manufacturing operations. Monday to Friday - Office hours with some flexibility due to project management.
Salary £45,000 to £55,000 plus Benefits
What You Will Do:
* Conduct Safety & Operability Reviews for all projects, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental standards.
* Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans, and collaborating with management to align goals.
* Manage project specifications by studying design requirements, completing technical studies, and preparing cost estimates.
* Monitor project schedules, resolve issues, and coordinate activities to ensure timely delivery.
* Control project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
* Maintain compliance with legal requirements and uphold product safety standards, including HACCP and allergen considerations.
What You Will Bring:
* A degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience gained through an apprenticeship.
* Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or FMCG operations.
* Expertise in project management, including design skills, process improvement, and safety management.
* Proficiency in CAD, CAD/CAM, and circuit design, with a keen eye for technical documentation.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate and deliver results.
