We have an exciting opportunity for an Online Category Manager in our On Demand Grocery/Specialist Shop team, reporting to the Online Trading Lead.

Salary and Contract
* Salary: £59,000.00 - £92,500.00
* Expected Salary: £59,000 - £75,000
* Contract type: Permanent
* Location: Hybrid role, based in Bracknell
Key responsibilities
You will lead and develop a team of Online Merchandisers, influencing stakeholders to optimize on-site customer journeys, drive sales, and improve customer satisfaction. Building relationships across teams, you will use data and benchmarks to inform assortments, trade planning, and campaigns. You will own and deliver promotional and trade plans in collaboration with the wider team and suppliers.
Essential skills and experience
* Ownership of sales/margin targets and understanding of online metrics
* Ability to influence across functions
* Leadership in complex environments
* Retail and/or commercial experience
* Line management and people development skills
Desirable skills and experience
* Minimum 2 years trading experience
* Knowledge of online and on-demand grocery markets
