Marketing Coordinator
We are looking to employ a Marketing Coordinator to be based in the City of London on a full time basis. We offer hybrid working with 2‑3 days per week in the office.
You will support the Head of Marketing Communications – Global Markets & UK Region and the wider Marketing & Communications team by providing operational, administrative, planning, and budgetary coordination. The role enables effective delivery of strategic priorities through disciplined planning, structured execution support, and strong financial and operational governance.
The role acts as a central point of coordination across strategic, operational, and administrative topics, ensuring priorities are clearly tracked, plans are maintained, and delivery is supported through disciplined processes and governance.
In close collaboration with the Global Communications Chief of Staff, the role owns and manages the controllable expense budgeting process for the team, supporting forecasting, tracking, accruals, and reporting in line with Group Communications GFL requirements. The role ensures financial transparency, cost discipline, and alignment with approved plans.
The position also provides flexible support across a range of business‑specific and strategic topics at the direction of local management. This may include supporting marketing campaigns, events, and initiatives, as well as contributing to ad‑hoc projects that advance business priorities.
Responsibilities
* Support the Head of Marketing Communications – Global Markets & UK Region and the wider team with day‑to‑day operational, administrative, and coordination activities, enabling effective leadership focus on strategic priorities.
* Steer and coordinate the annual marketing & communications planning process, including maintaining planning documentation, timelines, inputs, and outputs.
* Own and manage the controllable expense budgeting process for the Global Markets and UK Marketing & Communications team in close coordination with the Global Communications Chief of Staff and Finance.
* Track budgets, forecasts, accruals, and actuals, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with approved plans and Group Communications governance.
* Prepare regular budget, planning, and status updates to support decision‑making and leadership reporting.
* Act as a central coordination point for team administrative topics, including meeting cadence, materials, follow‑ups, action tracking, and documentation.
* Support the coordination and delivery of business‑specific projects at the direction of local management, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and deliverables are clearly tracked.
* Provide operational and coordination support for marketing campaigns, events, and initiatives, including vendor coordination, logistics, timelines, and post‑activity follow‑up.
* Support cross‑team and cross‑functional collaboration by ensuring information flows effectively and stakeholders are aligned on plans, priorities, and next steps.
* Maintain clear records, documentation, and processes that support continuity, transparency, and effective ways of working across the team.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of planning, budgeting, and operational processes, identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise, and strengthen execution discipline.
Knowledge And Skills
* Experience in marketing, communications, business operations, or a related coordination or project support role.
* Working knowledge of marketing and communications activities, including campaigns, events, and planning processes.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
* Demonstrated experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, or financial tracking processes is highly desirable.
* High level of attention to detail, with strong documentation, tracking, and follow‑through skills.
* Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and supporting leadership through structured information and coordination.
* Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, international organisation with multiple stakeholders and governance requirements.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally.
* Proactive, reliable, and solutions‑oriented, with a strong sense of ownership for assigned responsibilities.
