Engineering Manager - Control Systems
Kigtek Solutions — part of VINCI Energies, a global leader in energy, digital innovation and industrial technology — is seeking an Engineering Manager - Control Systems to be responsible for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget by leading a suitably skilled team and effectively managing resources.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
* Lead and manage a team of Control System Engineers (Software & Electrical).
* Act as the technical authority, reviewing and approving all team deliverables.
* Drive continuous improvement of systems and team performance.
* Create a safe, motivating, and high-performing team environment.
* Conduct appraisals, manage performance, and handle disciplinary matters.
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention.
* Coach and develop team members, including structured training plans.
* Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and promote a strong HSE culture.
* Maintain required levels of accredited engineers and solution partner status.
* Communicate effectively and cascade key business updates.
Technical & Specialism
* Provide technical leadership and stay aligned with industry trends.
* Ensure solutions meet current and future customer needs.
* Review and test control system designs against specifications, standards, and legislation.
* Support onsite commissioning and testing where required.
* Collaborate with internal technical teams to share knowledge and best practice.
Operational Management
* Oversee technical quality assurance and project sign-off.
* Monitor delivery performance and report into management reviews.
* Manage team resourcing with Operations, balancing utilisation and capacity.
* Support project allocation and resolve work prioritisation issues.
* Ensure delivery aligns with budgets and project timelines (including EV performance).
* Manage technical customer escalations.
* Maintain development tools, licences, and engineering infrastructure.
* Build and manage supplier and OEM relationships.
* Contribute to sales activities, including quotations and business development.
* Support continuous improvement of quality systems and standards.
* Provide input into strategic planning (SSP).

Knowledge & Experience
* HNC/HND/Degree in a relevant discipline (or equivalent experience in systems integration).
* Strong experience in industrial automation and system integration.
* Expertise in:
o PLC-based control systems and EC&I environments
o Machinery safety and applicable standards
o Integrated system testing and onsite commissioning
* Strong understanding of full project lifecycle delivery.
* Experience producing and reviewing technical design documentation.
* Knowledge of industrial hardware systems, including:
o Control panels, LV distribution, MCCs, instrumentation
o Circuit schematics, I/O schedules, and motor schedules
* Experience conducting site surveys and supporting accurate quotations.
* Proficient in MS Office, including MS Project.
