We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children’s Care, Play, Learning, and Development Qualified Assessor to join our dynamic team. This vital role involves evaluating and supporting early childhood practitioners and educators to ensure they meet high standards in caring for and nurturing young children. As a Qualified Assessor, you will play a key part in promoting best practices in childhood development, classroom management, and inclusive education. Your expertise will help shape the future of early childhood education by providing insightful assessments, constructive feedback, and ongoing professional development opportunities. Responsibilities
* Ensure the highest training standards by adapting to learner needs.
* Cover a regional area and travel to learners' workplaces for assessments.
* Complete Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and outline personalised learning pathways.
* Reference and evaluate evidence collected in the workplace to meet key skill requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and guided contact hours, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
* Contribute to the planning, monitoring, and achievement of set performance targets.
* Arrange additional training through day release and provide in-house training support as needed.
* Keep detailed records of clients' achievements to meet the performance criteria established by relevant awarding bodies.
Essential
* Relevant training experience and a recognised teaching or assessing qualification (e.g., A1 Assessor Award, TAQA, CAVA, or equivalent)
* Experience in an apprenticeship setting.
* Proven occupational experience and technical competence in Health and Social Care delivery.
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
* Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company) and EWC registration.
* Welsh speaking is desirable not essential.
