Social Worker Who You Are You are a dedicated and qualified social work professional registered with Social Work England. You have a strong understanding of current child care practices and relevant legislative frameworks such as the Children Act 1989 and 2004. You are committed to supporting children, young people, and their families towards achieving positive outcomes through collaborative and multi-agency working. You have excellent communication skills and are confident in using English to engage with diverse families and professional networks. What the job involves You will be responsible for managing a caseload which includes Children in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children. Your role involves undertaking assessments, developing care plans, and working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure good outcomes for children. You will engage in strategic management by contributing to service planning and development. Additionally, safeguarding responsibilities include assessing risk, investigating allegations of neglect or abuse, and taking necessary statutory actions to ensure children's safety and well-being.
