Overview
As a Healthcare Assistant at our Salisbury clinic, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care following Diaverum procedures, ultimately improving our patients' quality of life. Responsibilities
* Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Maintaining clean equipment following proper training.
* Preparing supplies and packs for treatment.
* Conducting health checks with patients before and after dialysis.
* Escorting patients to clinical and waiting areas.
* Serving refreshments during treatments.
Requirements
* Must be educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
* Minimum NVQ level 2 in Health; Social Care or equivalent (preferably working towards level 3).
* Ideally, previous experience in a hospital and healthcare setting.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* A positive and dynamic approach to delivering safe and effective care.
* Excellent communication skills (oral + written) with fluency in English.
* Must be able to work clinically in a renal setting.
* All positions are subject to a satisfactory DBS check as part of our recruitment process.
