To maximise profit whilst not compromising quality and service by providing effective solutions to FTL, LTL and groupage requirements. Key Responsibilities: Plan collections and deliveries, including hazardous materials and customs planning where necessary. Book vehicles and loading space, ensuring correct administration in line with Dachser network standards. Accurately administer and monitor outbound operations using various Dachser tools (including, but not limited to, Domino, Outbound Planning Tool, CustomsHub). Effectively manage loading to meet customer requirements and departmental KPIs. Process cost accruals and purchase invoices accurately and promptly. Communicate effectively with other departments in Northampton, across the UK, and other branches in the network to maintain strong working relationships. Manage suppliers efficiently to minimise costs and ensure consistent service. Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures in daily processes and uphold the companys quality standards. Maximise profit opportunities without compromising on quality. Respond promptly to customer requests for charter and groupage services, delivering cost effective and efficient solutions. Maintain a supplier database to provide a range of cost-effective options supporting Dachsers customer delivery requirements. Ensure all reporting procedures are followed, and that all paperwork is accurate and efficiently handled. Administer and process vehicle dispatch documentation correctly, including CMRs, loading lists, hazardous materials paperwork, and customs documentation. The Ideal candidate will have: knowledge of transport legislation (Desirable) Good geographical awareness.
