A functioningeconomy needs a stable banking system. Banking supervisiontherefore has the task of monitoring the business activities ofcredit institutions and maintaining investor confidence. As part ofan interdisciplinary team, you will advise banking supervisors onall supervisory issues relating to IT in the newly createdCompetence Center for IT Risks.
Work ofparticular value: your assignment with us
* You assess the functioning and appropriateness of ITrisk management and IT processes of the supervised institutions andtheir multi-client service providers based on the supervisoryregulations.
* You are an expertin the team for information security (e.g. network security,cryptography, vulnerability management, penetration tests),application development (e.g. design, programming, build, test,deployment) and application and infrastructure operations.
* You deal intensively withtechnical innovations in the financial sector and assess theirimpact on the banking industry.
* You assess and evaluate complex IT and IT risk issues and canprepare and communicate your assessment in a way that isunderstandable and appropriate for the target audience.
* You will occasionally take part in bankingaudits and supervisory meetings at the institutions. In doing so,you will represent the supervisory assessment to the institutions'management boards and senior employees.
* You will work independently in the agile team of theCompetence Center and in a service-oriented manner with thesupervisors in the head offices.
Special values: Your qualifications
* Master's degree or equivalent degree in (business)computer science or other subject area in combination with relevantprofessional experience in IT security or IT auditing
* Strong analytical and conceptual skills toevaluate and solve fundamental issues, very high degree of flexiblethinking and openness to innovation and transformation
* Ability to identify potentialnegative developments and problem situations as well as newdevelopments in IT supervision at an early stage
* Very good communication skills and theability to communicate complex issues in an appropriate manner
* Independent and service-orientedway of working paired with a confident demeanor
* Agile mindset and knowledge of agile workingmethods
* Very good written andspoken German and English skills
