B2 Relief Administrative Assistant – 4 Month Fixed-Term
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our West Lothian Community Administration Teams as a Relief Administrative Assistant, providing vital support to ensure the smooth operation of WLHSCP community vaccination services.
In this dynamic role, you’ll bring strong organisational and time management skills, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A keen eye for detail and a conscientious work ethic are essential to maintain accurate systems and produce high-quality documentation. You should be self-motivated, flexible, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
This position involves a varied workload across multiple teams. Key responsibilities include greeting patients in person, registering them on TURAS, handling telephone enquiries, and performing a range of ad hoc administrative tasks. As such, a professional telephone manner and strong communication skills are crucial.
We offer full training and ongoing support, with opportunities to develop new skills while working alongside multi-agency teams.
Post 1 – 20 hours per week
* Wednesday & Thursday (8:30am – 4:30pm) & Friday (8:30am – 2pm)
Post 2 – 17 hours per week
* Saturday & Sunday (8:30am – 5:30pm)
