Job Description
Commercial Workspace & Education Interiors
Responsible for the production of commercially functional and attractive designs that meet client briefs and collaborative stakeholder management.
The role will suit someone who is detail-oriented and solution-focused, yet creative and innovative, and able to manage multiple projects within tight timelines (e.g., summer holiday periods).
Role & Responsibilities
The role includes:
1. Engaging with clients and end-users to define design brief, including specific requirements
2. Developing and presenting mood boards, schematic plans, 2D/3D layouts, ensuring accessibility and universal design principles
3. Collaborating with project managers and suppliers on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems
4. Specifying materials, furnishings, finishes
Desired Skills
The successful applicant will have experience in designing inclusive, functional, aesthetically pleasing environments. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure spaces meet the needs of all users, while adhering to regulatory and technical standards in conjunction with Sales teams and Project Managers.
