Murphy is recruiting for a Design Coordinator to work with the Energy Team covering Linear Projects.

A day in the life of a Murphy Design Coordinator:
* Review submissions for quality and sufficiency.
* Lead design engineering on small/medium projects as directed.
* Coordinate and manage design activities involving internal designers, consultants, suppliers, and interface contractors.
* Ensure proper setup and utilization of Aconex (or alternative client-approved CDE system) by all stakeholders.
* Monitor, track, and report on design progress against the project schedule.
* Oversee constructability and permanent works considerations related to Temporary Works.
* Review design progress and details using CAD/BIM tools.
* Monitor and report on Design NCRs and their resolution.
* Liaise with Surveyors, Buyers, Contract Managers, Project Managers, Site Managers, and Estimators to foster teamwork on each project.

* HNC/HND in civil engineering, construction, or similar.
* Membership of an applicable Engineering Institution or ongoing professional development.
* Experience in engineering design, particularly in Power T&D, renewables, or multidisciplinary EPC projects.
* Exposure to design management, coordination, and construction.
* Proficiency with Autodesk suite including AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
* Familiarity with BIM, CDEs, document control systems, and processes.
