Job Description
West Dunbartonshire Council has an opportunity for a Governance & Reconciliation Team Leader to join our team within Finance on a permanent basis.
The team manages the council's bank accounts/signatories, BACS users, and controlled stationery. Additionally, the team assists with statutory functions such as preparing VAT and CIS Tax returns for HMRC, processing and payment of arrestments, and payroll deductions.
In this role, you will provide guidance and training to all council employees regarding statutory requirements related to VAT and CIS, and assist in completing VAT returns for the organization and other arm's length organizations.

Requirements
The preferred candidate will be required to complete a Disclosure check (Level 1) prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
Responsibilities
